Our popular Douglas Fir Bark, now in a serious quantity. This is a cubic foot box holds just over 28 litres. It will let you re-pot about 36 plants in our 5 inch pots (depending on the root mass).

This material is commonly recommended for orchids with medium sized roots which do not necessarily want to dry out completely between watering such as mid size Cattleyas and Oncidium Alliance. When properly used, can be maintained for 18 months to two years before requiring replacement depending upon your watering patterns.

Size Of nuggets

I misjudged the size and a smaller size would have been more appropriate for Bonsai use. I will be able to make use of the material by cutting it smaller however and I like the quality. Perhaps the descriptor of sizing could include a picture with reference to measurement of the piece.
