Properly labeled plants are vital for maintaining a respectable collection. Tags will degrade over time. Even UV stabilized tags will become faded and brittle over time and need to be replaced. Coloured tags are in a package of 20 vinyl labels 12 cm by 1.3 cm. Standard White tags are 12.6 cm by 1.5cm in a package of 25. Short White Tags 10.5cm by 1.5cm.
When labeling your plants, remember to use the full name. It is a good idea to list the last repotting date on the back of the tag. Some people also list where the plant came from.
